Macbeth at the beginning of the play is successful warrior in the Scottish army. The king of Scotland, Duncan, hears of Macbeths bravery and he calls him a Valiant cousin! Worthy gentleman! (Act 1 scene 2, line 24). This shows that the king of Scotland regards Macbeth very highly and has a great deal of trust and respect for Macbeth. This gives the audience a very good impression of Macbeth although they have yet to have seen him. She calls up the spirits of darkness and asks them to unsex her to take away all that makes her a woman. Firstly, the foundations of a slippery slope argument will be discussed, along with the usual fallacious nature of this type of argument, also to be discussed, is if slippery slope arguments ever provide good reasons for accepting their conclusions. Secondly, euthanasia will be introduced and discussed, this will be done using an example of a slippery slope argument by John Keown from his book Euthanasia, ethics and public policy: and argument against legalization. When my mother got married to my Stepfather my family’s life was transformed tremendously. My siblings and I went from living in a low-class poor neighborhood raised by a single Mother, to living in a two parent household in a diverse middle-class community. Adapting to a multi-cultural community sent us into a culture shock and was quite challenging. Our family was not accustomed to residing in an area where ethnic minorities was the lowest percentage of the population. My siblings and I had been exposed to diverse individuals when we were out in public with our parents however, we never interacted and lived among people of different cultures and ethnicities.
